Job Description

Position Summary:
The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and coordinating deliveries, communicating with drivers and customers, monitoring delivery activities and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. This role is a key link between sales, drivers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch delivery trucks and drivers according to customer orders and delivery priorities Coordinate daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transportation costs Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers and contractors Verify order details, delivery locations, and any special handling requests Work closely with yard workers to ensure orders are pulled correctly for transfers Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT transportation regulations and safety procedures. Coordinate with other locations on transfers/deliveries as needed Experience with Dispatch related activities and knowledge of Lumber and Building materials required.

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00/5:00pm and rotational Saturdays 7-12:00
