In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage the scheduling and routing of freight, shipments, and transportation resources to ensure seamless delivery operations. Your proactive communication skills and attention to detail will drive efficiency across the supply chain, supporting our commitment to timely and reliable service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of transportation management, utilizing advanced systems and analysis skills to optimize fleet and shipment workflows. Responsibilities Coordinate dispatching activities by assigning freight loads, routes, and schedules using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure compliance with delivery timelines. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse teams, and customers via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times. Utilize data entry skills for accurate logging of shipment details, delivery statuses, and dispatch records within AS400 and other logistics platforms like Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Manage shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols in collaboration with shipping departments. Analyze transportation data to identify inefficiencies or delays, implementing solutions that improve overall supply chain performance. Maintain fleet management records, coordinate with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, and support transportation planning initiatives for optimal resource utilization. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment. Strong familiarity with

GIS, GPS

tracking technology, and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine. Knowledge of freight operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in data entry, analysis skills, typing speed, and multi-line phone systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with supply chain concepts including transportation planning and logistics optimization is highly desirable. Technical aptitude with systems like AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms is preferred.
