Job Description
This position is responsible for dispatching , and bidding on loads. The ideal applicant will be working atleast 8 hr aday up to 10 hr per day. He or she will work as part of the dispatch team as well as independently and needs to possess excellent communication skills with a strong work ethic.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Transportation logistics/load planning and bidding 2 years minimum
- Proven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- written and verbal
- Team player with strong self-motivation and drive
- Proficient at multi-tasking
- proficiency with the Internet and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of load boards
- Must have knowledge of Sylectus/Omnitracs dispatch system.
