Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
To start, 90% of the work will be delivering. Driving 175 miles a day. Making 25-35 stops per day Manage the day-to-day functions of our couriers by dispatching, monitoring, tracking, and communicating with them Implement our procedures and processes to exceed our customer's expectations Mentor drivers as needed by setting clear expectations regarding safety, procedures, and on-time performance Manage couriers by holding them accountable to meet company and customer's expectations Provide exceptional customer service to our couriers and customers Must be able to think out of the box and stay one step ahead of courier and customer needs Perform general office duties Make deliveries 90% of the time
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with some start times at 7:30am
QUALIFICATIONS
Courier experience preferred Have great knowledge of the Kansas City Metro Ability to Multi-task Be a great communicator Computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word is required Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to run a multi-line phone system with numerous inbound and outbound phone calls Ability to calmly handle and resolve courier and service issues You will need an SUV or Mini Van to use for delivery Able to lift at least 50 lbs. Have good knowledge of Kansas City streets Have a clean driving record
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Holiday Pay Fuel Surcharge Job Type:

$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
