Job Description
Summary-Milas Trucking Company, based in Conover, NC, is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Dispatcher to coordinate bulk pneumatic and dry van freight operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in freight dispatching. The position offers a commission-based pay structure with high earning potential for driven individuals. Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate bulk pneumatic and dry van freight
- Manage driver schedules, routes, and load assignments
- Maintain constant communication with drivers, customers, and brokers
- Track shipments and resolve issues in real-time
- Negotiate freight rates with shippers and brokers
- Maintain accurate load boards, schedules, and dispatch records
- Ensure DOT compliance and company safety policies
- Build and maintain strong carrier and customer relationships Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years dispatch experience in bulk pneumatic and/or dry van freight
- Knowledge of freight routing and broker negotiations
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient with TMS systems, email, and spreadsheets
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Compensation & Benefits

- 90-Day Probationary Period for benefit eligibility
