Billor, short for "Bill of Rights," is the only company transforming this market end to end, combining Freight and Technology for Truck Drivers, Freight Brokers, and Small Carriers into a single ecosystem. We operate a fleet of several hundred heavy-duty trucks and run integrated business lines across freight, fintech, and technology platforms. About the role We are hiring a US Fleet Operations Dispatcher [or Jr. Dispatcher] to manage and support a portfolio of independent (1099) drivers. This is a fast-paced, high-execution role for someone who wants to make a direct impact on daily freight operations and grow within a scaling freight and technology company. You will operate at the intersection of dispatch, driver support, and load execution—ensuring our trucks keep moving efficiently and profitably. Driver Support & Load Management Support the daily operational performance of a dedicated group of drivers. Source and secure high-quality freight through internal tools and the Billor broker network, following company guidelines for profitability. Assist in minimizing operational costs (reducing deadhead, avoiding unnecessary downtime, etc.). Act as the primary point of contact and support for your assigned drivers. Maintain strong driver relationships to encourage consistent execution and long-term retention. Dispatch & Operations Manage and execute loads in real time, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery. Plan routes using HOS (Hours of Service) to maximize productive miles safely. Communicate clearly and proactively with Driver Customers and Broker Partners. Anticipate and resolve daily issues (delays, detention, rejections, disruptions), escalating complex issues to the Lead Dispatcher when necessary. Ensure accurate, timely documentation collection (BOLs, PODs, check calls). Operational & Financial Performance Book loads that meet or exceed company targets for RPM (Rate Per Mile) and overall profitability. Work to reduce deadhead and increase paid miles for your drivers. Ensure clean documentation is submitted promptly for timely billing. Efficiency & Continuous Improvement Leverage our TMS and Billor technology to ensure smooth execution and tracking. Follow best practices to reduce freight deductions through careful planning and discipline. Actively learn and adapt to new operational standards as the company scales. Driver & Asset Management Communicate effectively with drivers across varying experience levels. Balance driver home time requests with operational performance. Help coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize driver downtime. Support drivers through road breakdowns and critical situations, coordinating with internal teams as needed. Reporting Structure Reports directly to the Lead Dispatcher / Fleet Operations Manager. Will work closely with a hybrid operational team, including international support in Brazil. Compensation Base salary + performance-driven commission/bonus (paid monthly). Commission tied to gross revenue, dispatch efficiency, and key KPIs.
