Dispatcher Are you looking to transition out of retail and into an office-based customer service role? Consider this Dispatcher opportunity at a well-established heating service provider! You'll use your strong attention to detail, good computer skills, and solid phone etiquette to support delivery drivers and customers in a small, casual office located in West Lebanon, NH. Responsibilities of the Dispatcher

• Courteously answer phone, record customer orders and information, and/or resolve issues
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding delivery issues or after-hours delivery requests
• Serve as the primary contact for all drivers and customer service representatives
• Map and sequence deliveries for routing efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Monitor driver progress in completing routes
• Review customer account information for accuracy
• Forecast daily and weekly demand based on weather
• Review logs and update accounts
• Seek to improve key metrics for delivery, safety, etc.
• Perform related duties as assigned Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Qualifications of the Dispatcher
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in a dispatch environment with computerized dispatch technology is preferred but not required
• Office/customer service experience
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical, planning, and scheduling skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to remain focused on detailed work and meet deadlines This Dispatcher position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm during the summer and 8:00am-5:00pm during the fall and winter, with Saturdays as overtime (usually shorter hours) during the busy winter season.
