Prior dispatch experience in logistics/3PL/store delivery dispatch is required.

SHIFT AVAILABLE

Sunday

Wednesday 5 am
5 pm (4 days/12 hour shifts)
At least 4 hours PAID Overtime built into the weekly schedule

Job Duties and Qualifications:

Compiles and maintains list of available drivers. Assigns trucks according to availability, purpose of trip, and freight. Issues record sheets, and all related paperwork to drivers. Trouble shooting and notifying appropriate parties of any changes. Records time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return. Investigates overdue vehicles. Directs activities of drivers Confers with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise. Heavy communication with drivers on a daily basis.
