Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher for KCEC you will be tasked with the authority and responsibility to operate the KCEC distribution system, dispatch and keep in touch with crews and consumers during outages.

What You'll Do:

Provides day-to-day dispatching activities under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer to assure continuous service to the consumers in the safest manner. This position helps ensure the restoration of power to normal operation following service interruption. Receives calls from consumers and relays this information to crews to restore any outages. Ensures the safety of the crews by staying in communication with the parties necessary.

What you bring:

High School education or GED certificate, required. Ability to adapt to shift work.
