Sweeper / Water Truck Dispatcher Environmental Protection Services (EPS)

Full-Time About EPS Environmental Protection Services (EPS) is a leading provider of erosion control, stormwater compliance (SWPPP), street sweeping, water truck services, and construction support throughout Nevada. We are seeking a highly organized, customer- focused dispatcher to coordinate our fleet of street sweepers and water trucks while ensuring exceptional service to our customers. Position Summary The Sweeper / Water Truck Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating daily operations for EPS's fleet of street sweepers and water trucks. This individual serves as the communication hub between customers, project managers, field crews, and drivers to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively prioritize changing schedules, and provides outstanding customer service while maximizing equipment utilization. Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch street sweepers and water trucks based on customer requests and project priorities. Coordinate daily routes and assignments for drivers. Monitor fleet activity and respond quickly to schedule changes, delays, emergencies, and customer requests. Communicate job assignments and updates with drivers throughout the day. Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and customers to ensure service expectations are met. Verify work orders, job locations, service dates, and customer requirements before dispatching crews. Enter and maintain accurate job information within company software systems. Track job completion, driver productivity, and equipment utilization. Coordinate equipment maintenance and downtime with the shop to minimize operational disruptions. Assist with after-hours emergency dispatching as needed. Ensure all required documentation, tickets, and customer signatures are completed accurately. Maintain excellent communication with internal departments, including Operations, Accounting, and Safety. Support continuous improvement of dispatching processes and customer service. Qualifications Previous dispatching, logistics, transportation, construction, or service coordination experience preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams). Experience with dispatch, GPS, fleet management, or work order software is preferred. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments. Preferred Experience Construction or heavy equipment dispatching. Street sweeping or water truck operations. Knowledge of Nevada construction projects and local roadways. Experience with scheduling multiple crews simultaneously. What We're Looking For Excellent customer service skills.
