Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Dispatcher and Fleet Office Assistant to coordinate transportation operations and support fleet management activities. This role involves managing vehicle dispatching, maintaining communication with drivers and customers , and ensuring efficient logistics workflows. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess strong communication skills, strong customer service skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Dispatch vehicles efficiently using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software to meet customer needs and optimize routes. Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries from drivers, customers, and internal teams with professionalism and clarity. Coordinate petroleum deliveries including freight handling, to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate data entry records related to fleet operations, logistics, and internal communication using systems in place via digital dispatch and DRM. Support fleet management tasks such as vehicle maintenance scheduling, GPS tracking oversight, and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Facilitate effective communication between drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline transportation planning. Assist with shipping documentation, manifests, and internal reporting to improve analysis skills and operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience with transportation planning, road transportation operations, or logistics coordination. Familiarity with GPS technology, and transportation management systems such as Vehicle Dispatch Software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask using multi-line phone systems and data entry tools. Excellent communication skills including phone call management, phone etiquette, customer service and internal communication practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and analysis purposes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in dispatching and driver coordination. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor during phone communication. Heavy customer service knowledge. Pay:
$700.00 - $900.00 per week
