Freight Full Job Description Job Duties:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Dispatch trucks and coordinate daily hauling of bulk materials (aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and other materials) Manage scheduling across multiple sites, plants, and customer locations. Communicate with drivers on routes, schedules, and updates. Adjust schedules in real time to meet operational and customer needs. Coordinate production, rail offloading, and material handling activities. Track deliveries, truck availability, and load status using dispatch systems. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Maintain accurate records and resolve delivery or scheduling issues.

Qualifications :

Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation operations preferred. Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of trucking operation and route planning. Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
