Job Description

Job Summary Dispatcher The district has a vacancy for a dispatcher. This is a competitive Civil Service position which requires the applicant to be on a current Civil Service List for School Bus Dispatcher, or be able to complete the required examination. Position provides assistance and support to the Transportation Supervisor. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Transportation Supervisor. In addition, related work shall be assigned as required by the Transportation Supervisor or Central Office Administration.

School Business Administrator/Transportation Supervisor Description:
Establishes and reviews bus routes, trains new drivers, dispatches buses to provide safe and timely transportation to children Drive bus Establish bus routes Call subs when drivers are absent Train and test new drivers Check and approve time cards for accuracy Collect maintenance records from bus mechanics Collect proper records for bus drivers' folders to comply with the laws of 19A and the state education department Performs other related duties as assigned Job Description Dispatcher The district has a vacancy for a dispatcher.
