School Bus Dispatcher

Community Bus Services is a family-owned School Bus Company servicing the Groveport City School District. We are professional, supportive, and fun. As a Dispatcher at Community Bus Services, your main responsibility will be communicating with drivers, supervisors, and the local community. Manning the dispatch radio while routes are on the road, answering phone calls from concerned community members, and helping supervisors make informed decisions are daily duties that you will be tasked with. In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for maintaining various spreadsheets and operating our digital dispatch software, ByteCurve360.

Duties:

Communicate with drivers and supervisors to establish the daily dispatch schedule Operate our digital dispatch software, ByteCurve360 Answer phone calls and work with supervision on resolving issues Utilize GPS systems to track vehicles Communicate with drivers, supervisors, and community members to provide updates on route status Handle incoming calls and inquiries from drivers and community members with professionalism

Experience:

Previous experience in transportation planning or dispatching is preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience in maintaining spreadsheets and using Microsoft Office This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve effectively. Compensation Details:

Scheduled Monday-Friday Shift:

9:00 am- 6:00 pm $30 per hour starting wage Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
