Dispatcher Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable dispatcher that has experience in the trucking industry. We also have a fleet of 40 tractor/trailers and straight trucks. Also dispatch a fleet of 30 trucks. We work in Ohio and sometimes surrounding states most of our work is in central Ohio. We haul mostly aggregate materials and stock them at various locations. At this point in time we also have two trucks that are OTR. The ideal candidate for the position must have good communication, team working skills, and a good multitasker. Be able to dispatch/schedule trucks and help them on routes. Also, keep track of trucks through out the day, which can be done through our GPS Fleet Tracking systems with samsara. Keep record of work orders and expenses for work performed. Be able to communicate with drivers/brokers daily about the schedule. We are open Monday - Friday all year. During summer months we are open Monday - Friday and Saturday 6-12. Saturdays will be alternated between dispatchers. For the open position week hours are 10:00am - 6:00pm Salary pay will be based upon experience. Then pay will be reviewed after 30 days.
