Job Description

Hours:
This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m
  • 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m
  • 7:00 a.
m. New hires must be available to work either day or night shift; specific shift assignments after training are based on department needs. While we do our best to accommodate preferences when possible, candidates should apply only if they are willing to work either shift.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching service calls efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
  • Use radio, phone or computer to send ambulances or other field units to appropriate locations
  • Monitor the status of ambulances throughout the call
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data entry and ability to transcribe information accurately
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and field staff
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Ability to type efficiently and accurately
