location is seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Dispatch Assistant. The position will assist the Dispatch Supervisor and Operations Manager, ensure accurate and on-time deliveries while providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

Maintain daily delivery assignments for drivers Ensure coordination of delivery and paperwork flow and make sure all appropriate documents are in order and maintained Interact with customers and drivers to keep up-to-date on deliveries and assist in resolving issues Confirm and verify next day deliveries by contacting customers Prepare delivery packets for each order Arrange for pilot services as needed

Position Qualifications:

1+ year experience in a delivery department Knowledge of DOT regulations, BOLI, and OSHA regulations Strong customer service background Scheduling and receiving experience preferred Ability to multitask and prioritize The expected starting pay range is $22.00
