Position Overview Triad Machinery is currently seeking a Field Dispatch candidate to join our service team at our Portland, OR facility. This person will be responsible for the entire process of field service related jobs, field mechanics, and maintenance of field service trucks and tooling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Efficiently and effectively schedule field service repair jobs. 2. Open field service work orders. 3. Order parts for field service jobs. Track this inventory. 4. Communicate professionally and effectively with Customers and employees. 5. Ensure that field service trucks are in compliance and properly maintained. We offer continued service training education to enhance knowledge and service capabilities, and remain current on new technologies.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED Some technical school training is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Prefer 5 years of experience in diagnostic and repair work on heavy machinery.
KNOWLEDGE
Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions required. Must have a basic understanding of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. SKILLS Must possess organizational skills and the ability to effectively organize a field service schedule and job book. Must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ABILITIES
Must be physically capable of lifting and safely climbing on heavy equipment. Must be able to read and interpret technical service information, manuals, bulletins, blue prints, and schematics. Must be highly motivated and able to perform well with little supervision. Must be customer service oriented and able to work productively with customers and employees.
