Dispatch Specialist - Portable Toilet Services

Overview We are hiring a dispatch-first, results-driven team member to manage daily operations and help grow the business. This role is primarily focused on routing, scheduling, and keeping drivers efficient and accountable. Once operations are running smoothly, this person will take initiative to bring in new business and follow up on opportunities. Key Responsibilities Dispatch & Operations (Primary Focus) Build and manage daily service routes using routing software Enter and maintain accurate customer and service data Coordinate schedules and communicate with drivers throughout the day Monitor route progress and adjust as needed for efficiency Perform office and road checks to ensure service quality Keep operations running smoothly, on time, and cost-effective Driver Oversight Provide clear direction and accountability for drivers Ensure jobs are completed properly and on schedule Address issues in real time and keep communication tight Marketing & Business Development (Secondary Focus) Identify and pursue new customer opportunities Follow up with lost or inactive clients to regain business Maintain relationships with existing customers Support local outreach and growth initiatives Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong computer skills (Word & Excel required) Comfortable learning routing/dispatch software Previous dispatch, logistics, or service experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills What We're Looking For Dispatch-first mindset: operations come first, growth follows A go-getter who takes initiative without being micromanaged Someone who holds drivers accountable but communicates professionally Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Compensation Hourly pay (based on experience) Opportunity for advancement as the company grows
