In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring individuals receive safe, timely, and reliable transportation services every day. Position Overview As a Transportation Dispatcher, you will coordinate daily transportation operations, ensuring routes run smoothly and efficiently. You'll communicate directly with drivers, support scheduling needs, and help create a seamless experience for both passengers and staff. Your ability to stay organized, think quickly, and communicate effectively will make a meaningful impact on those we serve. What You'll Do Coordinate and dispatch drivers using our scheduling system to ensure timely service Collaborate with scheduling staff to optimize daily routes and driver assignments Maintain consistent communication with drivers throughout the day via two-way radio Respond to real-time changes, questions, or issues with professionalism and efficiency Utilize your knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns to support effective routing Accurately maintain trip documentation, including intake information and eligibility verification Provide friendly, respectful assistance to passengers, families, and team members calling with questions or scheduling needs What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with transportation operations or logistics preferred Strong knowledge of local areas, including Huntingdon, Bedford, and Fulton Counties Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable using computer systems and dispatching software Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment Additional Details Occasional driving may be required (rare) Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed Why You'll Love This Role You'll be part of a supportive team that values reliability, communication, and service.
