Pay:

$16.50 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a large, continuously operating institutional location. The officer will be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and assisting in ensuring a safe and orderly environment during extended shifts. This position requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to interact calmly with staff, visitors, and the public. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the assigned location Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols Observe, report, and document suspicious activity or safety concerns Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, and service requests Provide assistance and direction to visitors as needed Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift documentation Follow all company and client policies and procedures Qualifications Previous security experience strongly preferred Experience in a healthcare, medical, or similar environment preferred Strong observation, communication, and customer service skills Ability to remain alert and professional during 12-hour shifts Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to pass a background check Work Environment Professional, high-activity environment operating 24/7 Combination of stationary post assignments and walking patrols Interaction with staff, visitors, and the general public Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay Consistent weekly schedule Supportive management and training provided Professional, safety-focused work environment PA #188 Education Requirements (All) HS Diploma GED or H.S.
