Company Overview The Association of Property Owners of the Hideout Inc is dedicated to maintaining a vibrant and well-organized community environment. Nestled in a scenic area with extensive natural preservation, our community offers a welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff alike. Job Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Dispatch/Communications professionals to join our TEAM. Duties Maintain Command and Control Center for the Community. Keep radio communications between Control and Patrol Vehicles open at all times. Issue guest, visitor and contractor passes as warranted. Oversee money deposits entered into vault. Notify Public Safety and Maintenance, as required, via Command Radio or Paging System. Coordinate emergency responses from Police, Fire and Emergency Response personnel. Monitor member, guest, contractor, and vendor activity at said location. Respond to telephone calls for assistance from members and authorized guests. Keep Patrol appraised of any occurrence requiring attention. Be aware of, and conform to the Rules and Regulations of the Community in addition to understanding and conforming to any relative operations orders, etc. Enter all events of his/her shift into the Command Log. Take complaints from within the Community and issue Suggestion/Complaint forms when warranted.
EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to deal with the public. Basic knowledge of Radio Communications a plus. First Aid/CPR/AED certification required. Must possess a valid PA Driver's License.
WORKING CONDITIONS
May be asked to work overtime or double shifts. Must be in Hideout issued uniform while on duty. The Public Safety Manager or the Operations Supervisor must approve any exception to this rule. Attendance at Public Safety related seminars sponsored by The Hideout is recommended for all Officers.
SAFETY HAZARDS OF THE JOB
Public Safety Communications Officers carry heavy responsibilities and sometimes work irregular hours - this may cause stress and possible burnout. They may suffer serious bodily injury through acts of crime, violence or interaction with irate individuals.

From $17.00 per hour
