Shift:
Saturday through Wednesday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week Work performed indoors in an office setting About the Role MAWC is seeking highly motivated and dependable individuals to join our Emergency Dispatch team. As an Emergency Dispatcher, you'll play a critical role in maintaining seamless communication during emergencies and supporting field operations across the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County's large water and wastewater service area. If you thrive in fast-paced situations and enjoy helping keep essential services running smoothly, we'd love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Answer emergency calls from water and wastewater customers Communicate directly with the foreman and other field technicians on duty Process Pennsylvania One Call tickets and respond to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition ( SCADA) system alerts Call out employees for overtime when necessary Process daily mail and customer payments Provide coverage for other dispatcher shifts during vacation or sick time Keep the public informed of outages through our notification system Send timely and accurate emails regarding leaks, emergency responses, and operational issues Maintain clear and detailed communication logs Utilize multiple software platforms, including:
IBM-I 400
