Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations efficiently and effectively. In this vital role, you will serve as the central communication hub, ensuring seamless dispatching of freight, managing driver schedules, and optimizing logistics workflows. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth supply chain operations, enhance fleet management, and deliver exceptional service to clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analysis skills and technical expertise will drive operational success. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine. Communicate with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication at all times. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries. Enter data accurately into transportation management platforms, including shipping & receiving records, fleet management logs, and AS400 systems. Analyze transportation data to identify inefficiencies or delays, recommending improvements for logistics workflows. Manage dispatching tasks for freight movement across multiple channels, including 3PL providers and internal fleet operations. Collaborate with supply chain teams on transportation planning, shipping schedules, and delivery priorities to meet customer expectations.
