In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily dispatch activities, coordinate logistics, and ensure the seamless movement of goods within our distribution center. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize inventory control, and uphold safety standards, all while motivating your team to achieve operational excellence. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch activities, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of goods. Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain accurate stock levels. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to support warehouse functions. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during all warehouse activities. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize distribution center operations and streamline workflows for maximum throughput. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain management with demonstrated team leadership capabilities. Hands-on warehouse experience including inventory control, shipping & receiving, and materials handling equipment operation. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and RF scanners. Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean management to enhance operational efficiency. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate cross-functional activities. Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role within distribution center operations is highly preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery as required.
