Dispatcher

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and experience in transportation management systems. The Dispatcher will work closely with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to ensure timely pickup and drop. Utilize transportation management systems such as NEMT software for planning and dispatching. Analyze routing options and make adjustments based on real-time data to optimize efficiency. Communicate effectively with drivers to provide updates on schedules and any changes in routes. Monitor vehicle locations using GIS technology to ensure adherence to schedules. Collaborate with logistics teams to resolve any issues that may arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs and delivery confirmations. Provide support in transportation planning and logistics management as needed. Experience Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination is preferred. Familiarity with transportation management systems, particularly NEMT Software system. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients. Knowledge of GIS technology is a plus for route optimization. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
