This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Network Hands & Feet Support Technician Job Summary The Network Hands & Feet Support Technician provides on-site, physical support for network and data center infrastructure. This role acts as "remote hands" for network, server, and IT operations teams by performing installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic diagnostics under remote guidance. Key Responsibilities Perform physical installation, relocation, and removal of network and server equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, servers). Rack, stack, cable, and label network and server hardware. Connect and disconnect network, power, and fiber cables as instructed. Assist remote engineers with troubleshooting by checking link lights, reseating cables, rebooting devices, and verifying connections. Replace failed hardware components (NICs, power supplies, cables, disks) following standard procedures. Conduct visual inspections and report hardware issues or alarms. Perform basic network testing (ping tests, cable continuity checks). Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including photos when required. Escort vendors and ensure compliance with data center security policies. Follow change management, safety, and escalation procedures. Provide after-hours or on-call support as required.
