The delivery work week is Monday thru Friday. This position is part-time and reports to the General Manager. This is not a job for someone who already has a full time job elsewhere. Responsibilities Work with customers on store deliveries and pick-ups and store and staging staff for deliveries and pick-ups Reply to e-mail and text messages in a timely fashion Evaluate each dispatch request before committing to the schedule Take calls and emails to coordinate dispatch stops Create a "Daily Mover's Schedule" e-mail with all of the details required to ensure a timely and accurate dispatch for the day Schedule pick up of furnishings and dispatch the in-house moving team(s) Create efficient daily area traces or routes Determine where the furnishings will be delivered based on the needs of the business outlets Take note of payments needed and ensure they are made Resolve issues Work closely with Owners, Staging Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Warehouse and Retail management to schedule incoming and outgoing deliveries Schedule the movers Other responsibilities as requested or required Skills & Abilities Ability to multi-task Excellent and timely communication skills•verbal and written Flexible, adaptable and self-confident Firm understanding of the Microsoft Product Suite•Word, Excel, and Google systems Excellent typing skills Ability to work independently and with a team Ability to navigate the greater Madison area within a 60-mile radius Reliable personal vehicle transportation and valid driver's license Trustworthy and reliable Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Advanced or continuing education is a plus

Job Type:

Daily Monday•Friday; Part-time; 8-15 hours per week.

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour dependent on experience
