Job Overview Join our tow truck company as a Dispatcher, where you'll be the vital link ensuring swift, efficient, and professional roadside assistance. In this energetic role, you'll coordinate the dispatching of tow trucks and service technicians, manage incoming customer calls, and utilize advanced transportation management systems to optimize fleet operations. Your organizational skills and proactive communication will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be at the heart of roadside rescue efforts, supporting drivers in their time of need while maintaining seamless internal communication across teams. Responsibilities Receive and manage incoming calls via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, providing exceptional customer service. Dispatch tow trucks efficiently using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms. Coordinate with drivers, service technicians, and customers to ensure timely response to roadside assistance requests. Utilize GPS and GIS tools to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve response times in road transportation operations. Maintain accurate data entry of dispatch logs, incident reports, and customer information while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Communicate internally with team members via internal communication platforms like SyteLine or equivalent logistics software to streamline operations. Monitor freight movements, shipping & receiving schedules, and fleet management activities to support overall logistics efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching within transportation planning or road transportation operations is highly preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and analysis purposes. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or Vehicle Dispatch Software. Knowledge of
