This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits . The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or construction, and will have strong Excel skills.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries Manage and dispatch a fleet of 60 + trucks and semi-trucks Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive accurately and on time Track truck locations, routing efficiency, and delivery progress Receive and process customer orders via phone and email. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues in a professional and timely manner Communicate schedule changes, delivery updates, and job site concerns with customers, drivers, and internal teams Maintain accurate records of daily orders, deliveries, and dispatch activities Collaborate with sales and operations teams to adjust schedules and accommodate changing customer needs Partner with fleet maintenance personnel regarding equipment availability, preventative maintenance, and repair scheduling Identify and proactively resolve logistical challenges
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, construction, or customer service Strong Excel Skills (Including Pivot Tables & V Lookups) Strong organizational, communication, and customer service Ability to read maps and coordinate personnel and equipment efficiently Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
Schedule & Hours:
Monday-Friday (8am to 6pm) Typical workload of 50-60 hours per week Participation in a rotating weekend on-call/dispatch schedule once every 6-8 weekends Weekend rotation is highly structured and planned in advance for the entire calendar year
Compensation & Benefits:
