Responsibilities:
Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickup and delivery appointments. Monitor truck locations and shipment status. Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers. Track loads and ensure on-time service. Update load information and maintain accurate records. Assist with route planning and problem resolution. Monitor detention, layovers, and delivery issues. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication.
Requirements:
Previous trucking dispatch experience preferred. Knowledge of DAT Load Board and Truckstop is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge. English required; Spanish is a plus. Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Some after-hours communication may be required
