Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Satellite Operations Dispatcher oversees the daily operations of Satellite Technicians located in the Texas market. The Satellite Operations Dispatcher provides the direction necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, and quality of services for Texas Satellite technicians. Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): Manages day-to-day Texas Satellite operations and activities to ensure operational integrity, efficiency, and compliance with all CPS policies and procedures. Responsible for scheduling and dispatch support for Texas Satellite technicians Responsible for creating and managing all repair calls for Texas Satellite technicians. Manages parts to ensure on timely delivery for service calls Interfaces with customers to ensure customer satisfaction Ensures timely submission of paperwork and time for Texas Satellite technicians. Monitors KPI's (open/completed calls, etc.) and ensures indicators are being met. Ensures equipment and technicians are following safety policies and procedures.Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION
High School DiplomaEXPERIENCE
3+ years as a manager or similar position in a service operations environment having supervisory and scheduling responsibilities. Prior responsibility for customer relations, problem resolution and schedulingREQUIRED SKILLS
Must possess an acceptable understanding of power supply or generator products and services Be committed to providing great customer service Strong PC skillsATTRIBUTES
Have great oral and written communication skills Be self-motivated and a self-starter Ability to multi-task Demonstrate leadership characteristics Ability to work effectively within a team environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position will be working primarily indoors or outdoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, but also requires the employee to be moving through other areas regularly. From this movement, the employee will encounter varying temperatures from these areas. The normal auto and air travel hazards will apply. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in other areas. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching. Must have command of sight, hearing, touch and smell. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
