We are currently seeking a Full-time Dispatcher to join our team in Cleveland, TX. This position is responsible for scheduling trips for drivers, this includes monitoring calls from beginning to end. They serve as a central contact point for both truck drivers and customers, coordinating the towing process. In this fast-paced job, Tow Truck Dispatchers are responsible for multiple trucks, customers, drivers and routes, which requires extreme attention to detail. They also monitor trucks and drivers once they're enroute, and they help if an issue arises with a pickup or drop off. Responsibilities- day to day but not limited to : Managing truck drivers' schedules and routes. Scheduling customers' vehicles to be picked up and delivered to their destinations. Providing truck/driver details to customers such as ETA updates, etc.. Documenting all calls, routes and times for pickups and drop offs. Handling customer complaints and inquiries. Negotiating rates and delivery time lines. Collecting payments and conducting releases of vehicles. Working closely with local police departments regarding incident management scenes. Any other tasks asked for by management team such as filing, cleaning, etc..
