Rolling Plains Management is seeking a Dispatcher for SHARP Lines Transportation in our Central Office in Crowell, Texas. This is an hourly position reporting to the Dispatch Manager and the Transportation Director. The full-time position has a schedule of a 40-hour work week with a varying schedule based on business needs, including shifts from 6am to 5:30pm with one position having a later shift of 9am to 6pm. Some variation in work hours may be required to cover transportation operation schedules and to meet business needs. Some Saturday work, including working off hours due to inclement weather/irregular holiday schedules and on-call hours, may be required. This person must have the capacity to work with others in a group effort to meet department goals. SHARP Lines Transportation is committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation to those who are transportation challenged. The Dispatcher helps to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all SHARP Lines services. Primary responsibility is coordinating rural public transportation activities within the 9-county region per FTA, DOT, and other funding source guidelines. The dispatcher assists in the efficient and timely planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring of all vehicle movements in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies and procedures. This position must communicate clearly, professionally and in a timely manner with company employees. The dispatcher must represent the company to its customers and the public in a professional and courteous manner.Benefits Package:

Reviews schedules in the CTS software system and dispatches drivers Accurately and efficiently enters information into Transit designated software, as instructed Fill open runs or make driver or trip reassignments to ensure timely service Monitors on-time performance by maintaining awareness of open runs and upcoming late trips; makes schedule adjustments as necessary Answers calls received to schedule transit services, dispatch drivers, enter fare rates for clients, and communicate with the Dispatch Manager on customer cancellations or no-shows Ability to pull reports on all activities occurring during their shifts or as requested by the Dispatch Manager and the Transportation Director Communicate with drivers by phone and through the instant messenger on the CTS software system Follows rules and regulations of the Company; follows instructions of management and supervisors Adheres to all regulations related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Provides transit information to passengers as needed; providing friendly, professional customer service interaction; answer calls from clients and schedule services Handles passengers' reports of personal property left on vehicles in accordance to Lost and Found procedures by reporting the report to the Dispatch Manager Properly records driver absences, late arrivals, early departures Schedules, takes trips and performs trip editing in the CTS scheduling software as needed. Communicates with the Dispatch Manager on Scheduling, Reservations, Operations to ensure service provision Maintains confidentiality of passenger's information Performs dispatch window and/or clerical functions as relief Attend in-service training and implement training provided. Establish, maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships. Must be focused on excellence and continuous improvement. GED/High School Diploma. Bilingual-Highly Preferred Ability to balance a variety of duties, prioritize, and meet deadlines required. Excellent communication and organizational skill required. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, other team members, and management. Possess demonstrated ability of personal computer operations within a Windows Microsoft environment, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to understand and carry out instruction and procedures with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and cooperatively. Available for a light amount of night and weekend work. Must be willing to take and pass a drug/alcohol test and comply with the "Drug Free": Agency Policy Must be able to pass regular criminal history checks. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to operate a company vehicle. One year may be waived provided that the individual has a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR). Must possess ability to provide reliable self-transportation capable of regional travel. Must possess and maintain valid Texas motor vehicle operator's permit of appropriate classification and endorsement as required. Must agree to maintain a satisfactory MVR and minimum requirement of insurability as required by law. MVR background checks may be conducted by the agency.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to maintain physical condition and stamina appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting, standing, walking, or riding in vehicle for extended periods of time, or other duties assigned . The usual requirements in an office/classroom/etc. environment may require lifting boxes of supplies, equipment, and occasional adjustments of office furniture. Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Employee regularly required to bend and stoop in the process of locating files. The physical requirements in an office environment may require lifting boxes of supplies or files, equipment, and occasional adjustment of office furniture.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to drive, occasionally long distances. Noise level could be moderate to loud in work environment. Ability to work in stressful environment and deal effectively with stress. Ability to perform duties and adapt to flexible work schedules as established by management.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
