Job Description

Join Our Team as a Tow Truck Night Dispatcher! Are you a night owl with a knack for organization and a calm demeanor under pressure? We're looking for a Tow Truck Night Dispatcher to join our team and be the voice of our operation after hours. In this crucial role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers in need of assistance, dispatching our drivers to various locations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the night.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from customers and emergency services, gathering essential information about their location, vehicle, and the nature of their request. Prioritize and dispatch tow truck drivers to calls in a timely and logical manner. Monitor the location and status of drivers and jobs using our dispatch software. Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, providing them with accurate information and updates. Document all service requests, dispatch actions, and other relevant details accurately in our system. Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a dispatch or customer service role, preferably within the towing, transportation, or logistics industry. Strong geographical knowledge of the local area. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Proficiency with Towbook dispatch software. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, overnight position. The typical shift is from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with rotating weekends. Why Join Us? Competitive pay. A supportive and team-oriented work environment.
