Harlingen, TX Employment Type:
Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an organized and dependable Field Services Dispatcher to coordinate the daily scheduling and assignment of field personnel. This position will serve as the primary communication link between Project Managers, clients, supervisors, and field technicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities Coordinate daily and weekly schedules for field technicians and project personnel. Assign employees to projects based on staffing needs, availability, qualifications, and required certifications. Notify technicians of their next-day assignments, including reporting times, jobsite locations, supervisor information, and project requirements. Communicate scheduling updates with Project Managers, clients, supervisors, and field personnel. Respond to employee call-outs, schedule changes, project delays, and urgent staffing requests. Arrange replacements or additional personnel when project staffing needs change. Ensure technicians complete all required onboarding paperwork, safety training, certifications, and site-specific requirements before reporting. Confirm employees have the required personal protective equipment and jobsite information. Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, assignments, attendance, availability, training, and certifications. Assist with preparing work orders, timesheets, assignment details, and other project documentation. Follow up with technicians to confirm their arrival at assigned jobsites. Support Project Managers with administrative and operational coordination. Maintain the confidentiality of employee, client, and project information. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in dispatching, project coordination, staffing, construction administration, logistics, or field operations is preferred. Strong communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and scheduling or workforce-management systems. Ability to communicate professionally with clients, management, and field employees. Knowledge of construction, engineering, field testing, or workplace safety is preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus. A college degree is not required; relevant experience will be considered. Work Requirements Must be available to work full-time in Harlingen, TX Must have reliable attendance and transportation. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment while supporting active field operations. Early-morning or occasional after-hours communication may be required based on project schedules. A valid driver's license may be required. #MEM-HAR
