The Local Dispatcher is responsible for assisting Local P&D to efficiently and effectively support drivers of our fast-paced organization.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm

Responsibilities:

Plans pick up and deliveries for local drivers. Monitors drivers to ensure pick-up and deliveries are done on time. Communicates with Customer Service Team on any delays or issues. Provides input on available capacity to authorize T-calls. Forecasts upcoming challenges for the next day and advises second shift of pending issues.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year experience in logistics. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Moderate knowledge of motor carrier operations and geography preferred.
