In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient dispatching of freight and transportation assets, ensuring timely delivery and optimal utilization of resources. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and internal communication channels. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure adherence to DOT regulations. Manage phone call inquiries related to shipping, receiving, freight status, and customer service issues with professionalism and clarity. Enter data accurately into logistics databases, including shipment details, delivery schedules, and vehicle assignments. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards during dispatching activities. Collaborate with supply chain partners, 3PL providers, and fleet management teams to coordinate transportation planning. Handle shipping & receiving documentation efficiently while maintaining organized records. Assist in problem-solving for road transportation operations by analyzing route data and dispatching patterns. Support internal communication efforts to improve dispatch workflows and customer service quality. Experience Proven experience in transportation planning, dispatching, or logistics coordination within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms. Knowledge of

GIS, GPS

tracking technology, and vehicle dispatch software. Strong understanding of freight operations, fleet management, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Effective communication skills for phone call management and internal collaboration. Analysis skills for route optimization and data entry accuracy. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to road transportation operations. Experience working with multi-line phone systems in a customer-focused setting is preferred.
