Job Description
Responsible for dispatching Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services. Receive and relay information to appropriate agencies by using: telephone, two way radio, CAD dispatch system, TDY, and computers. Other duties include maintaining knowledge of communication regulations and rules, entering information into federal, state and local databases, maintaining various logs, files, and official records. Employee must be available to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends. Prior dispatching and computer experience is preferred but not required.
