We are currently looking for highly motivated candidates interested in learning dispatch operations and joining our growing team in Odessa, TX. Our Dispatchers are responsible for supporting delivery operations and supervising a group of delivery drivers daily. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, a strong problem solver, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.
Dispatcher Responsibilities:
Assign drivers to daily delivery routes provided by Amazon Prepare daily dispatch materials and documents for drivers Assign company vans to drivers daily Assist drivers with loading and departure processes Monitor driver progress throughout the day using Amazon software Help resolve delivery issues and route concerns in real time Communicate with drivers regarding directions, delays, and operational updates Review driver attendance, time punches, and overall performance Support daily operations and ensure routes are completed successfully
Schedule:
Thursday-Sunday 10-hour shifts starting at 10:00
AM Qualifications:
Previous dispatch, logistics, or operations experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable using technology and software systems Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced situations Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
