Job Description
Sentry Force Security is seeking an experienced Emergency Communications / 911 Center Supervisor to lead our 24-hour Security Operations Center (SOC). This role mirrors the high-pace, high-importance environment of public-safety emergency communications but focuses on coordinating and supporting our private-sector security force deployed across multiple client locations. If you have a background as a 911 Communications Supervisor, Shift Lead, or similar emergency dispatch leadership role—and you're ready to bring that expertise into a professional private SOC environment—this is the perfect opportunity. Position Overview The SOC Manager oversees all day-to-day operations of Sentry Force Security's Dispatch Center. This position is responsible for supervising SOC dispatchers, ensuring consistent service delivery, maintaining situational awareness of field operations, and supporting officers in real time through efficient communication and resource coordination. You will manage a team of communications specialists, monitor incoming calls from field personnel, track officer status and movement, respond to escalations, and ensure operational continuity across a 24/7 cycle. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead SOC dispatchers across all shifts to ensure consistent performance and adherence to protocols. Receive calls and communications from Sentry Force officers in the field, providing guidance, support, and direction. Dispatch and coordinate security resources to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance. Maintain real-time situational awareness of officer activities, deployment status, and field conditions. Monitoring & Accountability Track officer attendance, punctuality, and shift compliance utilizing electronic monitoring systems. Monitor GPS, automated check-in systems, and electronic activity logs to ensure officer safety and reliability. Review officer incident reports and activity documentation in real time for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Maximize each on-duty officer's productivity in the field through constant monitoring and check-ins of personnel in the field. Escalate attendance issues to management in real time, whenever officers report late to work or do not report at all Conduct frequent radio checks with all officers in the field, and promptly respond to all incoming radio and phone calls Leadership & Quality Assurance Train, mentor, and evaluate SOC dispatch staff; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with Sentry Force Security's communication standards, protocols, and escalation procedures. Oversee daily shift briefings, incident logs, and operational handoffs to maintain continuity across the 24/7 SOC. Incident Management Serve as the primary point of escalation for high-priority incidents, field emergencies, and client concerns. Coordinate with field supervisors, management, and external partners when responding to major events. Produce shift summaries, incident documentation, and administrative reports as required. Required Qualifications Previous experience as a 911 Center Supervisor, Emergency Communications Lead, or equivalent public-safety dispatch leadership role.
NOTE:
This does NOT include private SOC experience. You must have a demonstrated work history working in a public 911 Emergency Communications Center in a supervisory role to qualify for this position. Strong multitasking, decision-making, and crisis-management skills in a fast-moving environment. Proficient with CAD systems, radio communications, and electronic tracking platforms. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Ability to manage 24/7 operational workflows, multiple simultaneous calls, and complex logistical demands. Knowledge of dispatch protocols, emergency response principles, and structured communication processes. Must be driven and self-directing. You must have the ability to identify challenges and creatively develop solutions to those challenges with little to no direction from management. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with GPS tracking, electronic reporting tools, and modern SOC technologies. Prior experience writing or implementing SOPs and workflow improvements. Work Environment Full-time, on-site supervisory role in a 24/7 mission-critical Security Operations Center. Rotating schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Professional, technology-driven communications environment with multi-screen consoles, CCTV feeds, and live officer tracking systems.Job Type:
