Delivery Dispatcher Needed! We are seeking an energetic, experienced Delivery Dispatcher. This fast paced position includes dispatching drivers, light warehouse duties, sorting product, as well as various administrative duties. Must be familiar with the state of Virginia and be capable of routing drivers by area while meeting customer deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

Answering inbound telephone calls from drivers and customers Dispatching orders to drivers Assisting operations managers and supervisors Sorting product when needed Communicating with customers verbally and via email Monitor driver status Customer and internal reporting Scanning, filing, responding to email inquiries

Qualifications:

Previous dispatching experience in the courier industry is required Proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications Ability to prioritize and multitask Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail ​Exceptional organizational skills Ability to analyze situations and offer solutions in a timely manner Ability to remain calm under pressure Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus Teamwork and collaboration Physically able to handle light warehouse duties Must pass a background check, drug test, and able to be TSA certified M-F 9am-6pm.
