Job Description

Days and Hours:
4:30am-8:30am, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday (At least 20 hours per week)
Pay:
$20-25/hour (Based on experience) The Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective dispatch operations at Chariots for Hire. They are responsible for coordinating and aligning the Drivers, Fleet, and Client needs delivering a high level of service to clients and company employees while ensuring optimal utilization of resources. The Dispatcher will work with a team of dispatchers and work closely with various departments, including Fleet, Sales, Detailing, and Operations, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. The Dispatcher services as the company's internal conductor aligning all departments together with the daily operational needs. Specifically, the Dispatcher will be responsible for: Job description Adhere to company policies as they pertain to your department Create and maintain drivers' scheduling on a daily basis from sedans to buses Establish working relationship with drivers, and effectively manage their schedules in conjunction with work load Facilitate appropriate vehicle and driver distribution between charter and contract work Maintain a close relationship with the sales department Work directly and actively participate in all training programs Work directly with detailing department to ensure vehicles are clean and ready for service. Keep track of drivers' DOT hours of service and ensure DOT compliance with driver's schedule Have basic accounting knowledge and be able to finalize trips with driver's pay. Performs other job-related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Proven track record of dispatching (Preferred) Must have strong area knowledge Must have ability to multi-task Must have high school diploma Excellent communication and analytical skills Strong problem solving skills High energy level and sense of urgency Computer skills with intermediate knowledge of
