JOB SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for the dispatching of company drivers, crew members, and equipment and overseeing completion of all associated paperwork. Position will be expected to perform various administrative and employee supervisory tasks, assist with training and safety briefs, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Must work closely with General Manager to ensure execution of efficient operations and planning. Must be flexible and available to work weekends, evenings as required. Schedule will often include Saturday This is an ON-SITE role. You must hold a driver's license and be able to commute to the work location. You must be able to legally work in the United States.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Daily dispatching - schedule work assignments of drivers, helpers, and warehouse personnel. Coordinate use of all branch vehicles and equipment. Responsible for daily vehicle and equipment safety inspections and records. Administrative - responsible for accurately completed paperwork as submitted by drivers and crew members. This paperwork includes, but is not limited to, daily time sheets, inventories, driver tickets, inspections sheets, trip reimbursements as requested, etc. Position requires daily use of a computer, answering phones, giving information to callers, and assisting with setting up jobs and appointments. Customer Service - Required to provide and maintain superior internal and external customer service, appropriate scheduling designed to meet the customer's needs, and keep timely and adequate communication with customers. Maintenance - Responsible for scheduling and monitoring regular and "as needed" vehicular and equipment maintenance and repair with third party maintenance/repair facilities. May include operation of company equipment if qualified. May include working at or monitoring at a job site if needed. All other duties as assigned.SPECIFIC SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR EDUCATION REQUIRED
Have comprehensive understanding of moving and storage operations including being proficient at packing and loading. Carry out Supervisory responsibilities that align with company policies and procedures At least 3 years demonstrated relevant experience Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively motivate staff Ability to direct/delegate staff and establish/maintain accountability Ability to work with a high-level of accuracy and a strong attention to detail Ability to effectively deal with push-back and overcome employee resistance Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to comprehend and implement oral instructions quickly. Ability to perform mathematical calculations at least a high school level. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Mover's Suite preferred. Ability to understand and accept responsibilities as requested by management.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
