Construction Administrator/Dispatcher

About us Budinger & Associates assists clients in the planning and execution of successful projects. We provide environmental and geotechnical investigation and construction as well as materials testing and related engineering services. We have served the greater Inland Northwest Region since 1976. About the position We are seeking a Construction Administrator/Dispatcher for our home office in Spokane Valley, Washington. This individual will greet clients, answer phone calls, update our dispatch schedule, and perform general office administrative tasks as needed. This individual will also assist in setting up new jobs and entering jobs in the dispatch log.

Duties include:

Ability to answer calls in a professional and timely manner. Enter dispatch requests into our scheduling system. Setting up new jobs with new and existing clients in our job list. Monitor office email inbox and answer requests or forward them to the appropriate recipient. File daily field reports from Go-Formz into our electronic filing system Update our Quality Systems Manual (QSM) to help keep track of our certifications and equipment. Assist with project closeout paperwork (final letters) to send to our clients. Welcoming customers in a professional and courteous manner. Keep track of office supplies and order more as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Experience and qualifications required:

High School diploma or equivalent required. At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role in Construction or Dispatch is preferred. Ability to multitask, including calls, entering jobs into the dispatch log, and welcoming customers. Strong organizational skills. Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Proficiency with phones. Ability to work with computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs. Pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test. Valid driver's license.
