Job Description
Moving & Storage Company seeks qualified Seasoned Dispatcher to dispatch daily crews and vehicles in the Tacoma, WA area. Includes local, office & industrial, intrastate, interstate, and international shipments. Must be able to pass background check and drug test. We are a drug and alcohol free company.
JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities include daily dispatching of drivers, crew, vehicles and back up warehouse personnel, as needed. Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and DOT compliant. Make sure all drivers are DOT compliant and vehicles safe. Coordinate with management, sales, and outside agencies. Process logs, vehicle inspections, and paperwork. Determine profitability of work, including auditing paperwork and expenses. Minor truck maintenance, as needed. SKILLS Excellent communication skills needed. Familiar with Outlook, Excel, Word and Mover's Suite system. Knowledge of military & State Department regulations, storage facility standards, OSHA safety compliance standards, Household goods tariffs and drug and alcohol testing requirement rules. Two or more years of household goods experience preferred. Compensation $25.00 to $30.00 per hourDOE BENEFITS
