We are seeking an experienced, reliable, full-time Dispatcher to join our Trucking Operations team at our new head offices in Tacoma, WA. Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
• Collaborate with Customer Service team to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of clients
• Update terminal and customer systems including making appointments to pick up, load, and deliver
• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customer personnel
• Monitor conditions at the ports, warehouses, and any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for time-sensitive deliveries Requirements & Skills
• High school diploma
• Minimum 1-2 years of previous dispatch experience in the Trucking/Logistics industry is required.
• Experience with Truck Mate TMS is an asset
• Must be efficient with using a computer, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Excellent knowledge of roadways throughout the area
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills in high pressure situations
• Must be motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and on your own What Do We Offer?
