Job Description

Title:
Warehouse Dispatcher Shift:
Rotating 1st Shift (A); 2-2-3 Rotation 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM 2-2-3 Rotating Work Schedule Only work 3 to 4 days per week! Dependable and consistent schedule. Know your schedule for the whole year!
Compensation :
$22.64 per hour minimum Eligible to start higher based on experience! This position is part of the Yearly Review System and is eligible for yearly raises based on performance.

Non-Exempt Essential Accountabilities:
Under the direction of the Asset Leader, the Dispatcher will be responsible for ensuring that we meet or exceed our customer's (internal and external) expectations and goals in all areas while maintaining costs, integrities, processes, and procedures Identify whether a carrier is the following: inbound/outbound/preload/live load/drop load. Complete paperwork (sign, date, update yard management, and load confirm). Direct outside carriers to the correct doors or lot location. Support a zero-incident facility. Determine live load/preload. Coordinate trailer moves for preloads. Check short items (DOT) and correct when possible. Troubleshoot shipping order issues. Complete BOL's for completed loads. Email and scan BOL's and pack lists as requested. Communicate when shopping list is out. Communicate When live loads arrive. Coordinate Co-Pack outbound loads and complete ST/OT and bills. Approve GAC Loads. Communicate with internal drivers Scan confirmed loads into Docushare Communicate at shift change what is currently happening to ensure a smooth transition Product Security Sensitive - As a product sourcing facility our customers require Rockline to possess security standards and procedures to guard against the introduction of unmanifested cargo, such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people into outbound shipments. This position has contact or influence over these "outbound" shipments and is considered Product Security Sensitive.
Required Skills:
High school diploma required (or equivalent). Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Warehouse flow. 4 years of work experience in Logistics (Warehouse Shipping and Receiving) and familiarity of transportation modes preferred. Prior dispatch experience is desirable. Prior experience with JD Edwards preferred. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Basic Understanding of Microsoft Office family of products (Excel - graphs, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is preferred. Come be a part of the People Who Make It Right!
