Job Description

Well established mid sized local motor carrier is looking to add a morning dispatcher as we continue to grow and position for the future. Ideal candidate will be well versed in the trucking industry, as you will be dealing with company drivers and customers as well as office staff. Familiarity with EDI interface, inputting computer orders, routing drivers, analyzing freight lanes, setting up and monitoring appointments, tracking maintenance issues, along with some rating and billing. Computer experience a must, as well as excellent phone skills with an opportunity to grow into a higher managerial role. Continued education and prior experience in dispatching an added plus. This is a first shift job, Monday - Friday. Casual environment and some of the best drivers you will find anywhere.
