Interim Executive Director of Emergency Medicine
JOB DETAILS
Interim Executive Director of Emergency Medicine Needed in Des Moines, Iowa! The Position An Interim Executive Director of Emergency Medicine is needed to provide strategic and operational leadership for emergency medicine services within a large, complex healthcare environment. The shift is 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Key responsibilities include providing leadership for emergency medicine operations, supporting patient care and departmental performance, managing a large multidisciplinary team, and participating in an on-call rotation. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, confident, and adaptable leader with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. They should demonstrate sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements MSN required. Active Iowa RN or compact RN license required. At least five years of interim leadership experience required, along with Level I Trauma experience. Compensation Details Compensation Range:
$160,000 to $175,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
